Cruella (DVD)

Cruella (Emma Stone) was born Estella. When her Mother was killed by three vicious dalmatians, Estella was left an orphan. She quickly hooked up with a couple of young thieves named Jasper (Joel Fry) and Horace (Paul Walter Hauser). The three of them grew up together grifting on the streets of London and all was good. Estella began to make a slow transformation into Cruella after starting work with The Baroness (Emma Thompson) who was as cold as ice.

The Baroness was the top fashion designer in England (or maybe the world) and the cruellest woman you ever did see. She is a rockstar in the fashion world and Estella's idol. Both Estella and The Baroness are hard-working and extremely talented in the fashion field. The Baroness starts off as Estella's cut-throat boss, and later turns into her competitor.

The acting in Cruella was great. The dynamic between Emma Stone (Estella later Cruella) and Emma Thompson (The Baroness) is amazing. Together they made the movie work quite well. (The other cast members are also great).

Cruella was well thought out and brilliantly put together. There weren't many laughs, though the movie stayed light most of the time. There were a few moments where the movie was a bit dark and heavy, far darker and heavier than any rendition of '101 Dalmatians' ever was.

Emma Stone gets lots of acting roles, and you can see why, she's so good, she's excellent in this.
The costuming must surely win some awards. It was truly a work of art. It was so impressive, especially in the scene with Cruella's train blowing in the wind.

Everything about the visuals is very beautiful and nice to see.

Cruella is a terrific movie, very entertaining, delightful, great in details, and just an impressive film.
