Council is reviewing its policies and frameworks to guide its work with the community in the areas of community diversity, development and hubs.
The revised documents include:
- The Diversity, Access and Equity Policy which will guide Council's decision-making and service development in a way that acknowledges and respects differences among residents, seeks to extend fair and equal opportunities to all people, and provides services which meet individual needs.
- The Community Hubs Framework which explains the nature, purpose, planning and operations of community hubs that provide services, social outlets or recreational opportunities to residents.
- The Community Development Framework which shows how Council shall involve residents and others in decision-making, service development and community activities.
