With performances, presentations and family activities across the venues, we invite you to join us to celebrate the opening of Flora on Saturday 27 March. Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre, Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens and Connection Art Space will all be open and we encourage you to visit all spaces.
Bookings are required and will be available for two sessions:
2pm - 3.30pm.
- Florist, Connie Harris, will be present throughout the afternoon at Heritage Hill Museum showcasing her floristry skills. Join her during your session and be guided in making your very own flower crown. This is a drop-in workshop as part of the opening event. No bookings required.
- There will be a short presentation including a performance by artist Aloma Davis at 2.30pm at Heritage Hill Museum.
- Dave Thomson’s (Lost Few) immersive performance The Silence will be running through the afternoon in the Theatre at Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre.
- Children’s and family activities will be running throughout the afternoon at both Heritage Hill Museum and Walker Street Gallery.
It's about 10-minute walk between Heritage Hill Museum and Walker Street Gallery. We encourage you to visit both venues during your session.
Due to COVID-19 occupancy limits, our spaces have limited capacity. We ask for your patience if a venue is at full capacity when you arrive.
Refreshments will be provided and we encourage you to bring a picnic and enjoy the gardens at Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Garden.
