Thomas Carroll Reserve's updates includes the following projects:

Project 1

East Oval Floodlighting Renewal

Council will be constructing new LED 100 lux, training standard, floodlighting on the east oval at Thomas Carroll Reserve. The existing lighting is at the end of its service life and requires renewal. Funding support for this project has been received from the Victorian Government as part of the 2021-22 Local Sports Infrastructure Fund, Female Friendly Facilities Stream.

Project 2

West Oval Synthetic Cricket Wicket Replacement

Council will be replacing the synthetic cricket wicket on the west oval at Thomas Carroll Reserve to meet current Cricket Australia standards. Funding support for this Project has been received from the 2021-22 Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF). The ACIF is a joint initiative between Cricket Victoria and Cricket Australia to support the ongoing development of community cricket facilities.

Project 3

Playground redevelopment

Council is planning to relocate and upgrade the Thomas Carroll Reserve playground along with additional landscape improvement works. 

The playground will include a diverse range of playground equipment.
