Thousands of athletes, students, families and visitors use Dandenong Stadium every week, making it one of the busiest and most important indoor sporting facilities in Victoria.

We are replacing the timber sports flooring on 7 of the 15 courts at Dandenong Stadium to ensure it continues to support local, state and national sporting events for decades to come.

Around 4700 square metres of timber sports flooring are being removed and replaced, along with significant subfloor improvements to meet current engineering standards.

The new flooring is expected to last up to 50 years.

Dandenong Stadium will continue operating in a reduced capacity while works are underway, with many activities relocated to Springers Leisure Centre.

The upgrade is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
