Venues for Hire

Council offers excellent range of high-quality facilities for hire in and around Greater Dandenong.

With 22 distinctive venues to choose from, including a contemporary gallery and a state-of-the-art theatre, you’ll find the perfect setting for any occasion. 

Many spaces are designed to host everything from elegant weddings and gala dinners to conferences, concerts and private celebrations.

Smaller rooms are also available, which are suitable for meetings, workshops, training sessions and seminars.

Hire fees

The fees vary for each venue, including staffing, equipment costs and bonds.

Each space has two different categories of fees applicable

• Not for Profit – applicable for groups and organisations (with incorporation or charity status) that provide services to community members that live, work or have a connection with Greater Dandenong (Includes Community Groups, Member based organisations, Community Service organisations, schools, health care providers and faith services and programs)
• Standard Rate – applicable to Commercial hirers conducting activities for the purposes of deriving a profit. Includes private hirers (Includes Commercial hirers, Organisations and groups without community / not for profit eligibility (i.e. dance schools), private health care providers and Private / Individual bookings)
