
Join us for the Dandenong Support Group-Grow Mental Wellbeing Program weekly on Mondays from 10am-12pm.
GROW (Mental Wellbeing Programs) has helped thousands of Australians to recover from a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, grief and loss and diagnosed mental illnesses.
Grow group meetings are run by the members themselves, according to a well-structured format.
During the meeting, members can share their problems, learn how to rebuild their lives and report on their own progress. Grow’s program of personal growth is based on changing negative thinking and behavior, and developing understanding, acceptance and confidence is at the heart of the Grow program.
It offers strategies on how to:
- Deal with an emotional crisis
- Manage feelings
- Think by reason
- Realize personal worth
- Improve relationships
Grow Groups are:
- Free meetings
- Confidential and members can choose to remain anonymous
- 1 1/2 to 2 hours, weekly meetings
- Open to people of all ages
- No referrals, diagnosis or appointments needed. Just turn up!
- 3 -12 members per group.
- Meet during school holidays
