Employers and workers in the manufacturing industry in Greater Dandenong are invited to attend this free breakfast event focused on creating safer and healthier workplaces.

Through a series of interactive sessions, you’ll hear real-world insights, explore common workplace health and safety risks, and discover simple, practical ways to improve safety in your workplace.

The session will include:

  • Key findings and insights from WorkSafe Victoria’s focus on manufacturers in Greater Dandenong
  • Discussions about health and safety issues affecting the manufacturing industry
  • Information about free workplace support programs, including WorkSafe’s OHS Basics Program, covering noise, manual handling, falls and psychological health
  • Information about the OHS Essentials Program
  • An overview of how premium rates are determined for the manufacturing industry
  • Practical guidance on how workplace health and safety improvements, together with early and sustainable return to work support, can help improve premium outcomes over time
