Join us to commemorate Remembrance Day followed by an immersive walking tour of the Springvale War Cemetery and the Garden of Remembrance.
We will pause to reflect and honour the service and sacrifice of all who served our country, before moving through the curative gardens and structures with Historian, Dr Lisa Cooper who will share the compelling stories behind the site’s creation, its ongoing significance, and the important work undertaken by the Office of Australian War Graves.
You will visit selected headstones and learn about the individuals, hearing their fascinating stories.
This is a rare opportunity to engage deeply with Australia’s wartime history in a peaceful, reflective setting.
Enjoy rich conversation, ask questions, and connect with history in a meaningful way.
Free event, however, registrations required.
Wednesday 11 November, 10.45am-12.30pm
If you require additional assistance to participate, please get in contact with us.
