Enjoy a fun and interactive family water safety session designed for parents and children to learn together.
Explore the risks and safety considerations around rivers, lakes, beaches, and pools, while building confidence in and around water. Families will learn how to correctly fit and wear a lifejacket, practice rescue and survival skills, and discover how to make safe decisions around open waterways.
This will involve a classroom component and an in-water activity. Suitable swimwear will be needed for both the parent and the child if participating in the water activity.
One parent/guardian/carer is required to attend for every child that attends. Children must be aged between 4-12 years old.
This program is designed for families from refugee, migrant and multicultural backgrounds.
Sunday 4 October, 12.45pm - 1.45pm
