The City of Greater Dandenong prides itself on building an active, engaged and resilient community, no matter your age or stage of life. A key part of achieving this goal is ensuring that older people are supported, valued and encouraged to remain active members of our community. One way that Council achieves this is to provide a variety of activities and events for all seniors to enjoy.
Join us on Thursday 12 November, at the Drum Theatre Encore - Mowton Legacy
Artist in Residence Giovanni Adams presents the premiere of Motown Legacy, a contemporary Australian theatre work celebrating the music that broke down barriers and brought audiences together on the dance floor. Through timeless Motown classics including “Ain’t No Mountain High,” “Dancing in the Street” and “What’s Going On,” Adams explores migration, belonging and cultural legacy through personal storytelling.
