Makerspace Series - Sew a Denim Tote Bag

99
A denim tote displayed on the table with sewing paraphernalia.

Give old denim a new life in this creative, sustainable sewing workshop. Transform recycled jeans into a sturdy and stylish tote bag while learning how to cut and repurpose denim, sew strong seams, and construct a bag that's built to last. You'll leave with a one-of-a-kind tote, along with the skills and inspiration to continue creating with recycled materials.

This program is run by the Community Hubs Team and is for people who are 16 years and older.

Workshop cost: $10

Please note: participants must have prior experience using a sewing machine, as this workshop is not suitable for complete beginners.
