Are you passionate about sustainability? Sustainability reporting requirements begin rolling out across Australia and many businesses are asking questions about this reporting.

If your business will be reporting under the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards from 1 July 2026 — or you supply to businesses that do — this working group has been designed to help you prepare.

Council are seeking Expressions of Interest from 10 to 12 businesses who would like to join a working group.

Sessions will be facilitated by Mariyam Sayers, founder of Kandu Sustainability and held fortnightly in-person, each 1.5-hour session combines expert guidance with peer discussion to help businesses build internal capability and develop practical next steps.

The three sessions will run on Wednesday 15 July, Wednesday 29 July and Wednesday 12 August 2026 at the Greater Dandenong Council, 225 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong. The cost for two participants for three sessions will be $117. The program has been subsidised by Greater Dandenong Council to support local business readiness.

What participants will gain?

  • A gap analysis of reporting readiness
  • Practical capability building in a priority area
  • A tailored action plan for implementation
