Building confidence through movement.

Come along to our health and wellbeing workshop on Friday 3 May from 6.30pm at Noble Park Aquatic Centre to get inspired and make your move toward a more active lifestyle.

You will have the opportunity to meet Donna Urquhart, a mum, scientist and ultra-marathon runner, who is just back from breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest run in a polar region - 1402 km in Antarctica - the first ever for a female.

Hear about Donna’s inspirational story - how she got started running seriously in her 30's as a new mum and the strategies she has used to be active and train, overcome adversity and follow her dream, while juggling family, work and life.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in an introductory self defence class run by Shukokai Karate Dojo Keysborough. This session will help build your confidence both physically and mentally as well as teach you some basic self defence techniques.

This is a free event open to all ages and abilities, however registration is required.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Arrive at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start.

We hope to see you there.
