Tenders and Contracts

The Contracts Unit is responsible for all procurement and contract management processes at Council. Council regularly enters into competitive arrangements for the purchase of works, goods and services needed to provide 'best value' procurement outcomes to ratepayers and others in the municipality.

Council is committed to conducting its tender processes with fairness and probity in accordance with State Government Guidelines for Procurement Best Practice, and guarantees the commercial confidentiality of any individual or Company submitting a tender for Council services.

Please refer to Greater Dandenong Code of Conduct for Contractors, which covers the responsibilities of both the employer and employee, including contractors.

Doing business with Council

The City of Greater Dandenong uses VendorPanel Marketplace to find local suppliers and to invite them to quote on work.

It's entirely free for suppliers and, once registered, your business profile will be visible to Greater Dandenong buyers and to others searching the Marketplace for suppliers in the area. Registering provides you with an opportunity to do business with Council but does not automatically make you a supplier to Council.

Quotations

Quotations will be sourced via VendorPanel Marketplace. To have an opportunity to receive an invitation to quote, suppliers must register on VendorPanel Marketplace below.

Public Tenders

In compliance with the Local Government Act 1989 (VIC) and Local Government Regulations 2015, Council advertises tenders in the relevant newspapers (generally The Age), Council's website and via VendorPanel.
