Council sought feedback from the community which helped shape the design for the new playground at Sandra Reserve in Noble Park.
There was strong support to upgrade the local playground and provide more equipment for children to play on. Enhancement to the landscaping was also a key theme in the community feedback.
The playground has been designed to encourage active, challenging, imaginative and social play.
The concept plan is aligned with:
- the allocated budget
- a Local level playground.
The key elements of the playground are:
- a new play unit including monkey bars, glide and ride, bridge, activity panels, spiral enclosed slide, a wave slide and a junior slide
- swings
- spinner
- spring rockers.
Additional improvements include seats and new trees.
