Exhibition Dates: 15 October 2025 - 20 February 2026

Journey through the rich history of the Dandenong Town Hall.

The Place To Be: Dandenong Town Hall is celebrating 135 years of community and culture.

For over a century, the iconic Dandenong Town Hall—now cherished as the Drum Theatre—has stood as a cornerstone of local life.

Join us for this exhibition to witness the shaping of futures, the farewells of young soldiers, the arrival of new Australians, and the joyful echoes of music, dance, and celebration of the Dandenong Town Hall.

This special exhibition will be displayed at Benga House, Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens and the Drum Theatre and invites you to explore its remarkable journey—through photographs, fashion, stories, and shared memories—and to honour the way this enduring landmark continues to grow as Dandenong’s vibrant home for culture and connection.
