We are running a series of free training sessions for community groups operating in Greater Dandenong. Three Community Education Sessions will be held in June 2025, covering Grant Writing, our Small Grants Program and Financial Literacy.

All training sessions will be held in person at the Dandenong Civic Centre (225 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong) and online.

Grant Writing - Wednesday 18 June, 5.30pm - 6.30pm

Practical advice from a professional grant writer that can be applied to a wide range of council, state, and private grant applications. Particularly suitable for applicants to our upcoming Medium and Large Grant Programs who wish to improve their skills.

Small Grants Program - Tuesday 24 June, 5.30pm - 6.30pm

Everything you need to know about applying to our Small Grants Program. Suitable for any individuals and non-profit community organisations who are interested in submitting a small grant application.

Financial Literacy - Wednesday 25 June, 5.30pm - 6.30pm

An introduction to the key financial skills required for grant applications, including producing income and expense statements, submitting project budgets, and capturing in-kind contributions. Suitable for small community organisations and grant applicants wishing to improve their financial literacy.
