Join 2025 Highly Commended winner Skye Petho in this hands-on workshop, so you can start creating your small masterpiece. Skye will guide you through the theory and technical aspects of working small: how to compose on a small scale and study your subject on a deeper level.
This session is for you to work on your 9 by 5 entry under the watchful eye of a professional artist. Ask questions, get support, and dedicate this time to your small, but impactful, art. Suitable for all artistic levels. 18+ (this workshop is not suitable for children). Please bring your own art materials.
This event will be held online and in-person at the Walker Street Gallery.
Bookings are essential.
About the Artist:
Skye Petho is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on Birip land in Port Macquarie, where the bush meets the sea and offers daily reminders of what truly matters. Throughout her artistic journey, from glass to watercolour, she is drawn to light and form. Petho’s creations invite us to reflect, to feel, and to truly see what surrounds us.
Please note: Some basic painting materials will be available for in-person attendees.
