Day Trips for Seniors - Celebrating our Centenarians Event

Two older people walking together

The City of Greater Dandenong prides itself on building an active, engaged and resilient community, no matter your age or stage of life. A key part of achieving this goal is ensuring that older people are supported, valued and encouraged to remain active members of our community. One way that Council achieves this is to provide a variety of activities and events for all seniors to enjoy.

We're celebrating our Centenarians on Tuesday 21 October.

We're celebrating residents who have reached their 100th birthday and would love to hear from them - or from family members or friends of those aged 100 years or older. We will celebrate them at a morning tea with the Mayor on Tuesday 21 October

To be eligible the person must:

  • Be 100 years or older
  • Live in Greater Dandenong (or have lived a large portion of their life in Greater Dandenong)
  • Agree to be nominated
