One way that Council achieves this is to provide a variety of activities and events for all seniors to enjoy.
Join us on Friday 20 June for a trip to Heronswood Diggers Club.
Located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Heronswood is the home of the Diggers Foundation. Wander the gardens, visit the nursery and garden shop or get some advice from the friendly staff or growing guides and books on offer.
Admission cost: Adults $15 or free if you are a Diggers member.
Lunch: Purchase at cafe or bring-your-own.
Bookings for this trip open at 9am on Tuesday 20 May.
Participants must be a resident of the City of Greater Dandenong and become registered users of the Community Transport Service.
Participants using this service need to be independent and mobile. Mobility aids are accommodated.
Admission prices are accurate at the time of printing but subject to change by the venue.
Transportation
Transport to and from the venue is available - Bus will depart 9.30am and return 2.30pm.
The bus will depart and return back to the Noble Park Aquatic Centre, 9 Memorial Drive, Noble Park.
Parking is free and all day at the Noble Park Aquatic Centre.
Transport cost: $15.20 (including GST).
