This Reconciliation Week, come together for an evening of connection, rhythm and celebration. With performances by Mr Congo and Ganga Giri, plus a showcase of music, dance and spoken word, it’s a night to honour culture and community. Explore the Confluence exhibition and share in the joy at Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre.
Our Beat honours Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, along with people of all backgrounds, who sustain and celebrate their cultural heritage. We bring these traditions to life by uniting artists from diverse disciplines, including music, dance, film, spoken word, and more.
Our Beat is an open-stage event for all artforms and people. Artists across music, dance, film, spoken word and more can perform or just see who is doing what. It is a great way to be part of the creative community and find future collaborators.
We Welcome Tolerance, Inclusion, and Respect: Racist, discriminatory, or any other harmful behaviour will not be tolerated at our events.
If you require additional assistance to participate, please get in contact with us.
