Remembrance Day 2025

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is one of the most important days on our commemorative calendar when we acknowledge those who died while serving in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. This is the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. People in Australia, and many other countries, observe one minute's silence at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month because that's when the Armistice came into effect. It's a time to honour all service personnel who died in service of Australia.

Dandenong Cranbourne RSL Sub-Branch will be delivering Remembrance Day 2025 Services in Dandenong.

Everyone is welcome to join this service at the Pillars of Freedom (Clow Street, Dandenong Palm Plaza – across Dandenong Market entry) on Tuesday 11 November at 10.50am. Services will commence at 11am

We invite everyone to take a moment today to remember those who have lost their lives and to watch this short video from ex-service member Robert Feillafe.
