Day Trips for Seniors - Positive Ageing Weekly Exercise Program

The City of Greater Dandenong prides itself on building an active, engaged and resilient community, no matter your age or stage of life. A key part of achieving this goal is ensuring that older people are supported, valued and encouraged to remain active members of our community. One way that Council achieves this is to provide a variety of activities and events for all seniors to enjoy.

Join us for a weekly seniors' exercise program starting each Thursday for the month of October. Start Thursday 9 October.  

Starting Thursday 9 October, join instructor Robyn for a fun and inclusive 45-minute class designed to help maintain or improve mobility and strength. Activities may include Tai Chi, Pilates, chair you and more - suitable for all abilities. 

Admission cost: Free for the month of October, $4.20 per class from 6 November

Participants must be a resident of the City of Greater Dandenong and become registered users of the Community Transport Service.

Participants using this service need to be independent and mobile. Mobility aids are accommodated.  

Admission prices are accurate at the time of printing but subject to change by the venue.

Transportation

Transport to and from the venue is not available.

Limited seats available and will be allocated on a first to book basis. 

Limited one trip per month. 24-hour cancellation and terms and conditions apply.
