Enjoy a series of performances in Frank Street Open Space.

Each week a different set of performers will entertain you with music and dance performances.

Dress for winter and bring a rug and picnic basket or stop in at a local restaurant and grab some snacks. 

In the event of wet weather the events will be moved to Paddy O'Donoghue Centre.

Saturday 18 May, 3.30pm to 5.30pm

  • Kobe White (pictured) - Local resident and Australian Idol favourite will perform popular covers and a selection of his own popular original music. Kobe loves performing pop and R and B presenting a blend of acoustic and upbeat style music.
  • ITM Tri Nguyen - Bop along to the self-proclaimed 'Dandenong’s own Ed Sheeran'.
  • Frankie Davis Jr - Put on your dancing shoes and groove to the sounds of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and other rock classics.

Saturday 25 May, 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Bindaas Bollywood Dance Company and Kavita Kalyan present the art of modern Indian song, dance and performance. The colourful and vibrant performances embody the diversity of the subcultures of Indian heritage, ranging from semi-classical to folk and everything in between. 

You will be encouraged to jump up and learn a couple of Bollywood routines. Get a real feel for Bollywood dance with dress-ups and props provided.  

Saturday 1 June, 3.30pm to 5.30pm

  • RIDDIM - DJ Alexandre - Move to the sounds of one of the leading DJs in the hip hop, R and B and Afrobeats scene.  Alexandre has been the official support DJ for Central Cee, Yung Filly, Rema, Omah Lay, Adekunle Gold, Oxlade and more.  
  • With One Voice Choir - This local choir bring together people from all faiths, cultures, ages, abilities, backgrounds and socio-economic situations.
  • Royal Drue - Royal Drue will be performing a mix of pop covers and originals.  

Saturday 8 June, 3.30pm to 5.30pm

One Love African Drumming includes some of the best drummers Australia has experienced. Master drummer Boubacar Gaye has travelled the globe with his djembe, touring, teaching and taking the community on journeys.

Enjoy an energetic performance and bring your own rhythm to life in our drumming workshops.
