Join us for an afternoon tea featuring two presentations.

The first presentation will recognise the significance of trees in the Bunurong Culture in the City of Greater Dandenong.

Following that, Les McLean, Executive Officer of the Natural Resources Conservation League will reflect on the League’s beginnings in Springvale, building on the past work of Cyril Isaac and Alex Wilkie in education, the development of Victoria-wide native tree nurseries and community forest tree planting projects.

Les will conclude with the League’s recent regeneration and ongoing work today in conservation of tree canopies and the creation of a new Environmental Philanthropic Trust.

Following the presentations, a delicious afternoon tea will be served.
