Jump Cut was a bold new program that blended digital public art with special event screenings on the Urban Screen in Harmony Square on Saturday 18 July 2026.
It celebrated creativity through a showcase of short films and looping animations created by Swinburne University’s Screen and Media students.
The special event screenings provided an opportunity to meet the filmmakers, connect with industry professionals and immerse audiences in the vibrant world of animation and short film, all in the heart of Dandenong.
The day celebrated creativity and innovation through visual storytelling.
Presented by Greater Dandenong City Council in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology, Screen and Media.
