To celebrate Youth Week, Springvale Community Hub will host an afternoon of soccer and basketball clinics, open mic showcases and live entertainment.
Greater Dandenong Junior Mayor, Fariha, said, “If you’re aged 12 to 25 and have game performing on the pitch, court or stage, Game On and Mic Up 2026 is the event for you.”
Presented by Greater Dandenong City Council and delivered by Amplify Youth Committee, this safe, inclusive and welcoming occasion is extra special because it was shaped by local young people for local young people.
“Come along, get active and showcase your talents or simply take in the show,” Farah added.
Activities include:
- A soccer clinic delivered by Melbourne City Football Club
- A basketball clinic for young people of all skill levels
- Live DJ performances from Amplify Youth Committee members
- An open mic session showcasing local young performers
- Free BBQ for attendees
- Opportunities to meet and connect with other young people from across Greater Dandenong

Game On and Mic Up is a fully supervised, drug, smoke and alcohol-free event.
