Greater Dandenong’s outstanding businesses took centre stage at the Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Night on Thursday 13 August 2026.
The annual gala brought together business owners, industry leaders and community representatives to celebrate the organisations helping to shape the region’s strong, diverse and vibrant economy.
Greater Dandenong Mayor, Councillor Sophie Tan, Deputy Mayor, Councillor Phillip Danh, and Chief Executive Officer, Jacqui Weatherill, attended the gala alongside members of our Business Development and Investment team.
Mayor Tan said the awards highlighted the important role local businesses play in strengthening both the local economy and the wider community.
“The businesses recognised through these awards show that success is not just about business achievements, but also about the positive and lasting impact they have on their customers and the wider community.
“It was such a great evening, celebrating the fabulous mix of businesses within our municipality. Well done to the Chamber for hosting such a great night,” Mayor Tan said.
From emerging enterprises and small businesses, to manufacturers, hospitality operators and transport and logistics firms, the awards recognised the innovation, resilience and service that contribute to Greater Dandenong’s success.

“The award recognises businesses that go above and beyond to make a positive difference through exceptional customer service, meaningful engagement and a genuine commitment to the people they serve,” Mayor Tan said.
The Chamber has supported local businesses since 1947 and will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2027.
“Our support for the awards reflects our shared commitment to a thriving local economy and to the businesses and organisations that create jobs, build connections and contribute to the wellbeing of the wider community,” the Mayor added.
The evening provided an opportunity to celebrate achievement, strengthen connections and recognise the businesses helping drive Greater Dandenong's economy forward.
