Dandy Vibes is an exciting new grants program funding creative ideas for bringing people and fun to central Dandenong this summer.
Greater Dandenong Mayor, Councillor Jim Memeti encouraged people who live, work and play locally to share their ideas, big and small.
“Whether your vibe is big night markets, small pop-ups, performances, light shows, food and culture experiences or anything in-between, we would love to hear from you.”
“If you, or someone you know, has an idea for energising the city centre, it could score you a grant up to $15,000 to bring it to life,” Cr Memeti said.
Dandy Vibes supports the following Greater Dandenong City Council Plan 2025-29:
- A city of accessible, vibrant centres and places
- A city that supports business, entrepreneurship, quality education and employment outcomes
- A socially connected, safe and healthy city
- A city that respects and celebrates diversity, our history and the arts
Grants available:
- Seed Activation – up to $3,000
Smaller, pop-up activity or creative bursts that plant joy in public spaces - Gather Activation – up to $5,000
Community-led activities that bring people together and celebrate local culture - Fusion Activation – up to $15,000
Larger and/or multi-day activity that involves close collaboration between traders and community, energising the precinct and generating economic benefits.
Applications are now open and close in March 2026 or when the grant pool is exhausted.
