Council invites seniors to join in the celebrations of Seniors Festival 2026 with a variety of activities and events.
Throughout the month of October, you can find events and activities to help you stay active around Greater Dandenong.
There are day trips and lunches to help you get out and about. Visit one of the libraries for activities that range from author talks and book groups to creative programs and help with digital technology.

Celebrate our Centenarians
- We want to hear from residents or family members of people who are aged 100 years or older, so we can celebrate Greater Dandenong residents who have reached this impressive milestone.
Nominate a centenarian and we will celebrate them at a morning tea with the Mayor on Monday 5 October.

Seniors Festival Afternoon Dance
- Springvale Town Hall, 5 Hillcrest Grove, Springvale
Thursday 30 October, 1pm–4pm
Featuring live entertainment by Band O’ Gold
Cost is $10 per person and includes afternoon tea. Tickets can be purchased online or at one of the pre-sales sessions held at Mitchell Hall, Springvale Hub, Dandenong Library, or Keysborough Hub.
Payment at the door can be arranged at the time of booking.
