The Greater Dandenong Volunteer Resource Service has entered an exciting new chapter, with a new name and new management that will ensure continued support for volunteers and community organisations across our city.
Now known as Volunteer Plus, the service will continue connecting local volunteers with meaningful opportunities across Greater Dandenong under the management of the experienced and respected Dandenong Community Learning Centre (DCLC).
Greater Dandenong Mayor, Cr Sophie Tan said the service would continue to support volunteering.
“Volunteering strengthens our community by bringing people together, building skills and creating a sense of belonging. This transition will help ensure the service remains sustainable and continues to support community participation well into the future,” Mayor Tan said.
We would like to acknowledge and thank South East Volunteers for their dedication and contribution in delivering the service over many years.
