The Maternal and Child Health Service is currently experiencing staff shortages. To make sure we can continue providing safe and effective support, some appointments and programs may be changed or delivered differently for a period of time. We remain committed to supporting local families and will keep the community informed of any changes.
Once your hospital has advised Council's MCH service of your baby's birth a member of the MCH service will phone you to arrange the date and time of your first appointment. This is usually attended in your own home.
Follow up appointments will be in one of our 17 local centres closest to you, across the City of Greater Dandenong.
