We are moving to a new distribution method for the annual community calendar.
The calendar has previously been delivered directly to letterboxes across the city. From this year the calendar will be stocked at central locations for residents to pick up their copy.
The calendar will include useful information on ways to manage and reduce waste and improve sustainability practices. There's also details about when to put bins out for collection, you can find this information on our website.
From 1 December 2026 the new calendars will be available for collection at the following locations:
- Dandenong Civic Centre Customer Service
- Dandenong Library
- Springvale Community Hub
- Keysborough Community Hub
- Parkmore Customer Service Centre
- Noble Park Aquatic Centre
- Dandenong Oasis
- More locations to be confirmed.
Unable to pick up a copy?
We're committed to being a financially and environmentally sustainable council. Printed calendars will only be mailed to residents in special circumstances who are unable to visit a collection point.
You can request a copy by phoning our Customer Service Centre on 8571 1000. Calendars will be available from early December.
Why is the calendar no longer being delivered to every home and why did Council make this change?
We have changed to a collection model for the calendar. We regularly review our services and programs to ensure resources are used effectively. Moving to a collection model supports our efforts to be more sustainable and ensures calendars are available to residents who want them.
Is there a limit to how many calendars I can take and will it still be free?
We will provide one calendar per household. If you are collecting for a neighbour or a friend we will allow extra copies. The community calendar remains free for all residents.
How long will calendars be available?
Calendars will be available until stocks run out.
Is the calendar available online?
Yes. A digital version of the calendar will be available on Council’s website on this page once it is ready.
If I don’t have the calendar where can I find information about bin days?

Some residents don’t use the internet, how will they find out this information?
We are promoting the change through a range of channels including printed communications. Our customer service centres are also displaying information about the change. We recognise that some residents may face challenges with the new model. We are committed to ensuring the information remains accessible and will work with our residents to make the process as easy as possible.
