If you are a private building surveyor, you can lodge the required documentation and pay the lodgement fee online.
A lodgement receipt will be sent to the email address you provide, including a reference number from the online portal. Please keep this reference number for any future correspondence or submissions.
Before you start

- Follow the prompts in the portal to lodge your documentation.
Section 80 - Lodgement
Naming Convention of Document: Property Address - Title of Document.
Example: 1234 Lonsdale Street Dandenong - Section 80 Notification.
Maintain the reference number when submitting a Section 80 Amendment.
Section 80 - Amended
Amendments to a Section 80 must be submitted quoting the reference number issued on original submission.
Section 30 - Building Permit, Documents and Plans
As the relevant building surveyor, you must certify that all documents required under Section 30 have been provided and that any applicable lodgement fee has been paid. This certification must be completed using the approved checklist and submitted to Council at the same time as the required documents.
Register or log in to your account to lodge your Section 30 submission. Include all supporting documentation and plans, and complete payment.
Naming Convention of Document: Property Address - Title of Document

- 1234 Lonsdale Street Dandenong - Section 30 - Building Permit
- 1234 Lonsdale Street Dandenong - Engineering Report
- 1234 Lonsdale Street Dandenong - Structural Plans
- 1234 Lonsdale Street Dandenong - Electrical Plans & Certificate

Building Permit Amendments or Variations
Register or Log in to your account to Lodge Building Permit Amendments, Variations and supporting building documentation.
Please use the reference number retained from the Section 30 lodgement when submitting amendments/variations.
Naming Convention of Document: Property Address - Title of Document.
Example:
- 1234 Lonsdale Street Dandenong - Variation to Plans
- 1234 Lonsdale Street Dandenong - Amendment to COWs
Certificate of Final Inspections (CFI) / Occupancy Permit (OP)
Register or log in and lodge your Certificate of Final Inspection or Occupancy Permit, along with all supporting forms and documentation.
Please use the reference number from your Section 30 lodgement when submitting.
