Discover Dandenong Creek Festival

The 2026 Discover Dandenong Creek Festival is on Thursday 16 April, 11am-2pm at Tirhatuan Park.

The Discover Dandenong Creek Festival is enjoyed annually in April by around 1000 people of all ages and abilities and aims to be low-waste. This fun day out includes a cultural presentation by Traditional Custodians including a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.

Attendees can also participate in wildlife demonstrations, fishing workshops, learn how reliant we are on our waterways, hop aboard the nature train and chat to dedicated teams working to protect the Dandenong Creek and surrounding areas.
