Springvale Winter Fest

Springvale Winter Fest is a winter-themed carnival and multicultural food festival with live entertainment, amusement rides, multiple market and community stalls and lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The event will take place on Sunday 21 June 2026, 11am-6pm at Buckingham Avenue, Springvale. 

Enjoy a full day of entertainment and family fun, featuring:

  • Snowfall experience and neon light display
  • Snow globes and interactive installations
  • Meet and greet the Howling Husky dogs
  • Free face painting
  • Free virtual reality experience
  • Live cooking demonstration
  • Youth Zone with airbrush art, silent disco and open mic
  • Amusement rides
  • Food, market and community stalls

How do I get to the event?

The event will take place on Buckingham Avenue, Springvale.

  • Springvale Train Station is a 450 metre walk to the event site
  • Bus routes 813, 814 and 902 operate in close proximity to the event
  • If you must drive, we encourage you to car-share with friends and family. Limited Street Parking is available close by to the event site.  Please obey all parking restrictions. 

Is there a cost to the event?

No, this is a free event for the entire community to enjoy.  Please note that there will be a cost for the amusement rides ($3-12).

We encourage you to check out the array of food and market stalls - costs will apply.

Should you require an ATM, there is options available at nearby bank branches.

Can I bring my pet?

The event is pet-friendly, however attendees considering bringing their furry friends will need to be mindful that the event is very busy with foot traffic and noise.

All pets will need to be on leash.

How can I participate in this event?

Unfortunately stall holder applications closed for this event in May 2026. If you would like to be involved in our future events, please contact events@cgd.vic.gov.au.

How will I know where to find the activity I am looking for at the event?

Prior to the event there will be a fun festival map to download which will indicate all of the main areas for you to navigate too.

This map will also be available at the event or you can ask one of our friendly council volunteers or staff for assistance on the day.

I can hear excessively loud music during the event, what should I do?

We aim to manage sound levels carefully to ensure a positive experience for everyone. If you believe the music is excessively loud, please let a member of our event staff know who will be able to assist by directing you to a quiet space in the event site or adjust the volume accordingly. 

Is there an accessible drop-off point at the event?

Yes. An accessible drop-off point is available at the corner of Queens Avenue and Buckingham Avenue to support visitors with mobility needs. Please note that this area is designated for drop-off only and parking is not permitted.

Is parking available at Springvale Winter Fest?

Parking is available in surrounding streets and public car parks. Attendees are reminded to strictly adhere to all parking signs and restrictions, as parking enforcement officers will be actively patrolling the area on the day. Please allow additional time to find parking or consider alternative transport options where possible.

How can I help make Springvale Winter Fest more sustainable?

We encourage all attendees to support our sustainability efforts by bringing a reusable water bottle, reusable shopping or tote bags, and minimising waste where possible. A Hydration Station to refill your water bottle will be available on site. We also ask that you dispose of waste responsibly using the provided bins.
