Come along to Keysborough's Big Picnic on Sunday 29 March from 11am to 4pm and have fun in the park with family and friends at Frederick Wachter Reserve.

Grab your picnic blankets, chairs and baskets and settle in for a fun‑filled, relaxing day in the park with plenty of activities for everybody.
Activities on the Day
Take part in a range of free activities throughout the day, including our Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Parkmore Shopping Centre.
Register at the Egg Hunt tent, follow clue markers around Wachter Reserve to uncover the secret word, and return it to claim a chocolate prize!
Egg Hunt sessions run at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm with limited spots available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Bring your furry, feathered or scaled friend for the Pet Competition, sponsored by Bendigo Community Bank, with categories including Cutest Pet, Best Trickster, Best Dressed and Friendliest Pet. Register between 11am–1pm, with the competition starting at 1.30pm. Spaces are limited.
Get active in the Make Your Move Sports Zone with free “Come and Try” sessions from local sports clubs and explore a variety of Food and Market Stalls offering delicious dishes and new flavours throughout the day.
Keysborough Tennis Club
Keysborough Tennis Club will be open from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, with three courts available for all participants to come and have a hit! Whether you’re new to tennis or just looking to get back into it, come along and give it a try.

Getting There
The event is at Frederick Wachter Reserve off Kingsclere Avenue in Keysborough opposite Parkmore Shopping Centre. Free parking is available around the reserve and at Parkmore Shopping Centre. Please note that the Keysborough Tennis Club carpark will be closed to the public.
There are a range of buses that stop at Parkmore Shopping Centre:

- 815 - Dandenong - Noble Park
- 824 - Moorabbin - Keysborough (via Clayton and Westall)
- 828 - Hampton - Berwick Railway Station (via Dandenong)
Facilities and Accessibility
Fill up your reusable water bottle at the on‑site hydration station. Toilets and baby‑changing facilities are available, along with a Quiet Space tent for those needing a calm area or a place for prayer.
Most stalls accept card payments, and ATMs are available nearby at Parkmore Shopping Centre.
