Greater Dandenong Council is inviting expressions of interest from community members and professionals to join the Positive Ageing Advisory Committee (PAAC).
PAAC has been established to provide advice to Council on how best to support and promote positive ageing across the municipality. The Committee also plays a key role in the implementation of the Positive Ageing Strategy.
As a vital advisory body, PAAC helps identify current issues affecting older residents and offers informed recommendations on strategies, plans, policies, and services that enhance the wellbeing of older people in our community.
This is a non-constituted committee of Council, made up of residents and professionals with a strong interest in positive ageing. Councillor representation is appointed annually through Council’s statutory process. The Committee meets at least every two months and is a voluntary position.
