There are several projects underway in the Dandenong Market Precinct to make sure central Dandenong remains a thriving commercial, cultural and community precinct in the years to come.
The precinct area includes the Market building and surrounds, Clow, Cleeland and King Streets, Sleeth Avenue, the triangular Clow Street car park site, Palm Plaza and land between Lonsdale Street and Palm Plaza.

Dandenong Market Precinct Plan
A Council-led 20-year plan that provides a long term strategic direction and vision for the Dandenong Market Precinct. It brings together key elements from the Revitalising Central Dandenong program and integrates them into a cohesive, forward looking strategy. Dandenong Community Hub
Greater Dandenong City Council is planning for a community hub in central Dandenong at a site bounded by Stuart Street, Clow Street and Sleeth Avenue. Community hubs are multi-purpose community facilities providing a range of complementary services in a single accessible location. Community hubs generally have a range of shared facilities and functions for community, groups and organisations.
