The Greater Dandenong Children’s Festival returns from Saturday 19 September to Sunday 11 October 2026, bringing a jam packed program of exciting activities, performances, workshops and adventures for children and families to enjoy.
From Deckchair Movies and creative play to sports and crafts, the festival transforms Greater Dandenong into a playground of fun, discovery and connection during the school holiday and beyond.
Delivered by Council and community organisations across the municipality, the Children's Festival celebrates the importance of play, movement, friendship and belonging, encouraging children to explore new experiences, stay active and create lasting memories.
