The City of Greater Dandenong Code of Conduct - Staff sets out the guidelines within which Council staff (including temporary and contract staff), and council representatives (including volunteers and contractors working on behalf of Council) must operate.
It is designed to ensure Council staff carry out their daily work with honesty and integrity.
As employees and representatives of the community, Council staff must be responsible for their behaviour and the use of public resources, and for complying with relevant laws and regulations.
The Code explains and supports this, and is presented to all new employees and contractors upon their appointment to the City of Greater Dandenong.
