Nominate another driver for a parking fine

If someone else was responsible for the parking offence, you may nominate them as the driver.

Who can complete the nomination form?

You must be:

  • The registered owner of the private vehicle, or the director or authorised corporate officer of the company-owned vehicle. 
  • You can only nominate a person 18 years of age or older (at the time of the offence).

Please note: A driver cannot submit their own nomination.

To transfer a fine to another person, you need to provide their:

  • Full name
  • Australian residential address (international, hotel or holiday addresses are not accepted)
  • Date of birth or driver licence number
  • To nominate a corporation, you will need the corporation's name, ACN and address

What happens after you nominate another driver?

  • The nomination will be processed within 10 days of Council receiving the form.
  • You will receive notice by letter.
  • A revised infringement notice will be sent to the nominated driver.
