If someone else was responsible for the parking offence, you may nominate them as the driver.
Who can complete the nomination form?
You must be:
- The registered owner of the private vehicle, or the director or authorised corporate officer of the company-owned vehicle.
- You can only nominate a person 18 years of age or older (at the time of the offence).
Please note: A driver cannot submit their own nomination.
To transfer a fine to another person, you need to provide their:
- Full name
- Australian residential address (international, hotel or holiday addresses are not accepted)
- Date of birth or driver licence number
- To nominate a corporation, you will need the corporation's name, ACN and address
How to submit a nomination
Complete the nomination form below and return to Council.

- In person at one of our Customer Service Centres.
What happens after you nominate another driver?
- The nomination will be processed within 10 days of Council receiving the form.
- You will receive notice by letter.
- A revised infringement notice will be sent to the nominated driver.
