Peace Talks by Jim Butcher

Peace Talks, the long awaited 16th Book in the Harry Dresden series, sees the Supernatural nations of the world meet up to negotiate an end to ongoing hostilities. Harry Dresden, Chicago's only professional wizard, joins the White Council's security team to make sure the talks stay civil.

This is an interesting book, and as a fan of the series I truly enjoyed it, though it does seem to be a set up piece for the next book.

Peace Talks sees Harry caught between loyalties and trying his best to juggle his responsibilities to the White Council, his family, Mab the Winter Queen and his friends and probably finding himself caught between two bad choices.

It's a good book with all the things I have come to expect with the Dresden series - good characters, funny dialogue, supernatural politics, lots of magic, and stakes that keep getting higher and higher, but definitely a setup for book 17 in the series, Battle Ground.
