The Amendment applies to part of the City of Greater Dandenong’s portion of the South East Green Wedge.
The Amendment applies to land extending approximately from Hutton / Perry / Glasscocks Road to Thompsons Road and is bounded by the Mornington Peninsula Freeway to the West and the Westernport Highway to the East. It includes parts of the suburbs of Keysborough, Bangholme and Lyndhurst.
The Amendment extended the expiry clause on the Greater Dandenong Planning Scheme Schedule 1 to Clause 42.02 Vegetation Protection Overlay by a period of 12 months until 31 December 2019.
This ensured the ongoing protection of native vegetation in the Green Wedge and provided Council with sufficient time to seek approval for Amendment C205gdan.
Amendment C208gdan was approved by the Minister for Planning and gazetted on 29 November 2018.
