The Pudding Lanterns are three large, playful, creature-like forms imagined as curious beings that inspire and celebrate the creativity of the community.
Conceived as living vessels, with distinctive hand-crafted legs and transparent bodies, they are designed to be continually filled and transformed by imagination, new ideas and artistic expression of others.
Housing an ever-changing gallery of small artworks created by local residents, this 360-degree, solar-powered installation invites residents and visitors to continually discover new stories as the Pudding Lanterns evolve with each new contribution of artworks and exhibition pieces.
Powered by solar energy, the lanterns illuminate after dark, transforming the installation into a glowing nighttime display, offering new ways to experience public art in the park.
