This amendment has been prepared by the Minister for Planning who is the planning authority for this amendment.
The amendment has been made at the request of Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (SMCT).
The amendment applies to land at 23A Smith Road, Springvale, formally referred to as Crown Allotment 2250, Parish of Dandenong. The land is permanently reserved for cemeteries and crematoria.
The amendment rezones the land from Commercial 2 Zone (C2Z) to Public Use Zone 5 Cemetery and Crematoria (PUZ5).
Current status
Amendment C247gdan was approved by the Minister for Planning and was gazetted on 1 February 2024.
