Pack your picnic blankets and chairs and get ready to join in the fun at Frederick Wachter Reserve for Keysborough’s Big Picnic this Sunday 13 April.

Greater Dandenong Mayor, Cr Jim Memeti said the community favourite event was about bringing people together and celebrating out vibrant and diverse community.

“It is also one of the only large events I know of that pets are welcomed openly and can get involved with activities solely for them. We will have a pet photobooth and competitions for Best Dressed, Top Trickster and Cutest Pet,” Cr Memeti said.

The day will be jam packed with entertainment including roving performers and an easter egg hunt for young people sponsored by Parkmore Shopping Centre.

“Plenty of delicious food will be on offer from food stalls and trucks popping into the park. We will also be hosting sports activities for those who would like to get active as a part of our Make Your Move initiative,” Cr Memeti said.

A live entertainment program will also feature music and performances from local dance studios and professional artists.

“Whether you want to join in with all the activities or set up your picnic rug and spend the day relaxing and enjoying the vibrancy of the party, there is something for everyone at Keysborough’s Big Picnic.”

Join us at Frederick Wachter Reserve, Kingsclere Avenue, Keysborough on Sunday 13 April, from 11am-4pm. Find out more.
