Help Shape Springvale

Cr Richard Lim in Springvale

Council is seeking feedback from everyone who lives, works, shops and loves Springvale to help create the Springvale Revitalisation Action Plan.

What would you like to see in Springvale? What would make it a better place for our diverse community?

Council is seeking the community’s ideas on these important questions so we can help make it a better place for everyone.

There are a range of ways to have your say including via a survey, an ideas board, and a mapping tool so you can add what you would like to see where in Springvale.

Mayor, Cr Eden Foster said Council will incorporate the community’s feedback to make a plan to continue to build on Springvale’s strengths.

“This is an exciting time for Council as our Placemaking and Revitalisation team are wanting to know from the community what short, medium and long-term interventions could support Springvale’s evolution into the future.

“The ‘Shape Springvale’ interactive engagement hub is a great tool to introduce the broader community to the project.

“In recent years, Council has delivered the Springvale Community Hub and newly revitalised Springvale Boulevard to act as catalysts for change in the area. These projects celebrate Springvale’s rich cultural tapestry and provide a renewed sense of pride in which the Springvale Revitalisation Action Plan will build upon,” said the Mayor.

Springvale Central Ward Councillor Richard Lim OAM said he too has been out and about in the community asking what people's vision is for the future of Springvale to help develop the Springvale Revitalisation Action Plan.

“Council will consider all the feedback before presenting a draft action plan back to the community for their views.

“I am so proud to share all that Springvale has to offer and I look forward to seeing it become a top tourism hub and a place that locals are proud of," said Cr Lim.

The Shape Springvale consultation closes on 30 April.
