Dandenong Civic Centre

Community Calendar Photography Competition

Every year Greater Dandenong City Council produces a Community Calendar for residents which features photos taken in our municipality.

We love seeing our city through your eyes and in 2022 launched a competition calling for residents to submit photos taken in Greater Dandenong.

Over the past two years the competition has been a huge success with more than 500 entries capturing the beauty of our city.

We are running the competition again for the 2025 Community Calendar.

A judging panel, including the Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre curator, will select 12 finalists for inclusion in the calendar to be distributed to the community in December 2024.

The panel will also select one photo representing each suburb of Greater Dandenong to take home a cash prize. The suburbs will be grouped into categories via postcode.

  • 3175 (Dandenong, Dandenong North, Dandenong South, Bangholme)
  • 3174 (Noble Park, Noble Park North)
  • 3173 (Keysborough)
  • 3171 and 3172 (Springvale, Springvale South)
